BBQ Bacon Topped Oysters

Ingredients:

12 fresh oysters on the half shell
• Rock salt
• 1/3 C ketchup
• 1/4 C Worcestershire Sauce
• 1lb bacon cut thinly
• Tapatío (or your favorite hot sauce)
• Juice of half a lemon
• Lime or lemon wedge for garnish

Directions:

Shuck oysters
• Place oysters on a thick bed of rock salt (rock salt will keep oysters upright when baking so juices don’t spill out)
• Mix together sliced bacon, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, lemon juice, hot sauce (splash)
• Add a couple drops of hot sauce to each oyster then top with bacon mixture
• Broil on high (middle rack) for 10 minutes or until bacon is browned and crispy
• Serve with lime or lemon wedge
