Goose Point Shellstock Oysters

Fresh oysters from the pristine waters of Willapa Bay delivered from our farm to your door. We sell Goose Point Oysters live in the shell, or as preshucked BlueSeals™.  If you’re planning on eating them raw, extra small and small oysters in the shell or BlueSeals™ are the way to go. If you’re barbecuing or cooking in-shell try our small thru medium in shell oysters. Serve them on the half shell or on the barbecue. Either way they’ll be a huge hit. Handling: Oysters are best kept alive by placing them in a container in the refrigerator (34° – 45° F) and covering them with a clean wet towel to prevent them from drying out. Do not keep them in a bucket of sea water, in plastic bags or other air tight containers. Oysters have a varying shelf life depending on the season. At the height of the summer, oysters are higher in fat content and should be eaten within a week of processing (check the shellstock tag for the use by date). During the winter, however, they can last for an additional week if kept cool.
